Updates have been few and far between because I’ve been busy getting stuff done… which is good, right? Some exciting things are happening over at chez Em. Or rather, they will be happening soon.
Most exciting? I’m MOVING. Pulling up whatever roots I have in the West end of Ottawa and heading to the wild East. Closer to my place of employment, major transit stations, shopping centres, etc. I’m losing the Farm and the balcony but gaining a roommate and a bigger apartment in the deal. My current location was good while I was a student, but since I’m no longer a student, it’s lost its charms and is pretty fucking annoying. Since my term just got extended at the job, I don’t want to spend another 6 months with my hideous commute when I have nothing actually keeping me here. So yeah, it’s awesome. Signed the lease last night. Full steam ahead.
