M.I.A.

Wow. So, what, a month since my last post? Lame.

If you’re reading this in a reader, take a sec to click on over to see my new blog layout. It’s pretty bitchin’. Mr.A helped my vision come too.

I had such a shitty February. I spent most of it sick. Every weekend in February was occupied by some kind of illness. I had a rough time recovering from those GI tests. (They came back clear, thanks.) Then, I was felled by a particularly bad time-of-the-month, which ate up at least a week. Then, for the last week (or so) of February, I had that flu/plague that’s been going around. The cough that came with the plague only went away a few days ago. It was brutal. Anyhow, it feels like I’ve been sick forever.

I worked a lot of overtime too, when I wasn’t sick. It helped me make up a lot of the sick days I used.

I was at work yesterday when we got that teeny tiny earthquake. I felt it. I actually stopped and went “hrmm,” but dismissed it as a blast from the nearby quarry or a big truck going by. I was surprised when I heard that it was an earthquake. A laughable one compared to what’s happening in other parts of the world, but I guess it was still notable. Ottawa doesn’t get earthquakes all that often.

I’ve been craving Lucky Charms all day. Aside from that and wearing a green necklace, I haven’t been participating much in St. Patrick’s day.
